 It saddens me greatly to be writing the following here today. Belinda Emmett passed away early this Saturday Morning in a Sydney Hospital after an eight year battle with cancer.
The Australian actress and wife of TV Personality Rove McManus (who - along with Emmett's family - was by her bedside this morning as it happened) left her mark on many across not only the country, but also the world. Playing two well loved characters in both Home & Away and All Saints, and featuring in one of Australia's best home made films, The Nugget, Belinda will be remembered fondly by many.
My deepest condolences to Belinda's family, friends, and husband Rove - I cannot begin to imagine the pain they are going through right now. My thoughts are definitely with them. Hopefully yours are too.
