Monday, September 25, 2006 I'm going to cop a LOT for this...
...because on most occasions, it feels I am very much alone in my appreciation for Paris Hilton. But, to be honest, I really couldn't give a "flying fuck" how uncool or unhip liking Paris Hilton makes me, because her new single is just TOO good to care.
Fair enough. So "Nothing In This World" would have been brilliant with ANYONE on vocals. People with much stronger pipes and the ability to actually dance could have pulled this off, maybe even a lot better... I admit this.
But instead of dwelling on hate and negativity like, say, the 600 or so people over on the Popjustice forums who have nothing else but time to call her a "whore", "slut", et cetera, et cetera, I'm going to boldly stand up and profess not only my love for Ms. Hilton and her new single, but I'm also going to profess that not only is it the single of the year, it is also the video clip of the year... even if those same people over on the, once again, Popjustice forums see it fit to now label Paris a Paedophile - among all the other 37 Million names they like to call her - because of THIS very clip...
I wish the same "Clip of the year!!!111" line could be said for the new Girls Aloud effort though...

At least the clip has managed to look about as early-90's-eurodance as the single sounds... ie: Very.

Oh and the GA video is nice, but normal for them really. Except Biology, which was actually good!
