=( ..... x 30,000,000

The most depressing news item of the week comes in the form of new single details for the Rogue Traders.

As much as I think "We're Coming Home" is a great song, and even though back in October when I
reviewed the album, I mentioned it being an obvious single choice, I still can't help but feel ridiculously gutted that "In Love Again" will not be the next single from the nations favourite electro-pop'ers.

I am extremely upset. The news has, quite frankly, ruined my entire week. For goodness sake, I've already begun drinking for the weekend because of this news. AND IT'S ONLY 3:00PM ON A THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

DRINKING!
ALL BEFORE DINNER ON A THURSDAY!
DOING SO IN THE OFFICE!
WHAT ON EARTH WILL I DO NEXT?!
OBVIOUSLY IT IS HIGH TIME TO REMOVE ANY SHARP OBJECTS FROM IMMEDIATE VIEW ISN'T IT?!

The news has caused such frustration that three previously planned stories for today will not be going live on the site until I have recovered correctly.

And anyone who dares to claim I am overreacting clearly has absolutely no idea of the sheer magic that surrounds one when listening to "In Love Again".

Before all this rather devastating news, I was sooo ready to state that "In Love Again" was going to be the best single of the year, too.
=(

Well even though Aaryn seems to have a problem with the english language he does raise a valid point. After reading of the music tastes you seem to have I am confused. I simply don't understand why you would think the Rogue Traders are good and Coldplay is bad. I can only assume you are deaf. I would tell you to listen to some good music such as Thirsty Merc, Jamie Cullum and Hanson but I don't want you to like any music that I adore.

I think you'll find that Aaryn's slight outburst was in regard to "We're Coming Home" being a bit shit for the next single choice, not the Rogue Traders themselves.

Secondly, how on earth could I be deaf? Let's be realistic here Sarah, I run a site about music, surely I need my hearing to discuss such musical stylings, don't I? Are you trying to humour my readership with your charming wit and snappy sass? Oh you are? But I'm not deaf. "I DON'T GET IT!"

You don't have to understand why I prefer the Rogue Traders to Coldplay. However I DO see why acts such as Coldplay, Thirsty Merc ETCETERA are succesfull, and you should probably stop being so narrow minded and maybe take a look at why acts like The Rogue Traders do well too. It's not all gloom and death you know, some people like to inspire a bit of fun within themselves and the music they listen to. Each to their own I say.

I simply don't understand why you would be reading this site if you don't enjoy a bit of fun pop music?

    xx IAR.

Some Rogue Traders stuff is great, great pop music, but agreed, that song isn't. Coldplay depresses me. I love Thirsty Merc, and I really do think that Jamie Cullum is ONE of the best, funnest pop/jazz things since sliced bread.

I *LOVE* the Rogue Traders! I was referring to the single choice as ass.

Coldplay is ass as well IMHO.

Know whats REALLY ass, Sarah? Your attitude. The JOY of having your own blog is that you get to write WHAT YOU WANT in it. Like Coldplay? Great.. write about it in your own blog, dont crucify others for doing exactly as they should.
