The Crying Game
|
Poor Javine Lisa Scott-Lee.
This Sunday sees the Australian release of Lisa's rather good single "Electric".
However, the chances of it doing, well, anything on our charts, is almost laughable. It's fairly safe to say that every radio station in the country bar one (Joy FM) has chosen to ignore it, and even Club [V] haven't been playing the video clip.
Club [V] play anything.
The problem here is, no one actually really knows it exists. Lisa hasn't bothered to come down for a bit of promo work which may have helped even a tiny bit. There's the whole Steps angle which she could have milked, and, you know, Steps didn't do all that badly in Australia now did they?
I like Lisa. There, it's been said. I also really like "Electric". When I heard it was getting an Aussie release, I got extremely excited at the thought of Lisa coming down, parading about in next to nothing at a few instores, maybe doing a bit of Television and had even fantasized the thought of someone like Channel 10 airing the ridiculously ace Totally Scott-Lee.
Instead, Lisa has done, well, nothing. Nothing at all.
Why has she even bothered then?
I shall be joining the other 2 Lisa Scott-Lee fans in Australia this Sunday to purchase a copy of "Electric". This is surely going to brighten her day next Sunday evening; "Sorry Lisa, your single hasn't even cracked the Top 50 in Australia, but the good news is three people in the country DID buy it, and the gays over at Joy FM in Melbourne still love you, so not all is lost."
Number #23 isn't looking so bad these days is it Lisa?

Poor Lisa! I really like her, and I love her music.
Why does the British people need to be so hateful?
