Because we're still broken...
|
...you'll have to excuse the lack of updates over the last few days. While we've been trying to locate the pieces of our brain we lost somewhere between the docklands and Commercial Road in Prahran, our other legendary weblogfolk have been going quite "hard at it", providing everyone with glee in written form. - Thank FUCK that Fop are back from their holidays. Because who else would have notified us of the brilliance that is Pete Burns starring in the UK's Celebrity Big Brother (LOOK AT THAT!!)
- Ausculture are looking for the lost Cartwright-Hewitt baby. Has anyone questioned Gary Glitter on the disappearance?
- The CFB Lay-deees have begun a project entitled The 1001 Greatest Pop Songs, which, crazily, will include social commentary from us over the next week. Luckily, it seems they've asked the amazing Edward O to join them in counteracting the garbage we'll be posting on there, with something that actually sounds half decent. Naturally, Dannii Minogue has already been placed at Number #1.
- Speaking of Edward O, he's compiled the top 150 tracks of 2005 over on his brand new blog. However, he's actually put some effort into each track and its accompanying commentary, unlike us who simply listed the songs in order. There may or may not be some mp3's over there too of some or all of the said songs. Amazing.
- PopGoesCanberra seem to have found themselves in Tasmania. Oh dear...
- Scott, To Be Certain has finally updated, and made up for the two month hiatus in fine form. Thank goodness etc.
- Club Contact are still updating their fabulous blog regularly, unlike our mp3 blog which will return next week (we kind of forgot we even began it... sorry...)
- After some downtime, Poptext is back - minus some sound files but we'd like to think their words are enough of a gift to all anyways.
See! This all perfectly makes up for our laziness, doesn't it?
